Dear Patricia: The market has been very quiet this summer. Buyers are taking a break after two years of a very competitive market that has seen prices rise as well as interest rates. Many people have gone on vacation after months of Covid.

 

Buyers will be returning soon and if your house is well-presented and priced well, you should see some activity. The market has softened and pricing it at the levels we saw in the spring will not be successful. Meet the buyers where they are not where you want them to be.
