Dear Peggy: Supplemental property taxes are additional taxes that are due when a property has a change in ownership or is newly constructed. It is an adjustment the County Assessor does to reflect the new value of the property. It is due when the bill is received.

 

Property tax bills have just been mailed to homeowners and Installment 1 is due November 1, delinquent December 10. Installment 2 is due February 1, delinquent April 10. Watch for this mailing from the County Tax Collector.
